symposium on “Time according to Quran and Science” which has been conducted by the Association of Scientific Miracles in Quran and Sunnah” it its cultural activities in Cairo. Dr. Mansoor Hassab El Nabi addressed the symposium. He assumed that Quran always opens new horizons of thoughts for thinkers and scientist. He emphasized that the right types of science and knowledge leads, always, to faith and believe. He confirmed that there is no contradiction between science and Quran. Therefore scientist must initiate their theories carefully and religious scholars must interpret the Quranic verse correctly. Dr. Mansoor added that Quran dealt with so many scientific issues such as the creation of the cosmos, the issue of time and place. Quran says that Allah, The Almighty has created the Universe in six days. But we must know that days of Allah are not necessarily similar to the days we, human beings, know, because time is proportionate matter and not an absolute issue. This fact goes hand in hand with the conclusions of the modern science and the theory proportionate. Time occupies an important place and role in the life of not only the animate creations, but also the life of the in animate. All of us measure the time to know the age of things. For example the radio cative material such as the uranium and Radium as well as the coral line reef all are turned by radiation into lead. Each radio cative element has particular rate of turning into another elements. Some scientists have used some radio cative materials such as Uranium and Carbon 14 to determine the age of earth. The scientists used also the phenomenon of cosmic extension and widening to determine the age of earth. Dr. Mansoor dealt with the (age of cosmos) as an issue that emphasis the existence of Allah. The Almighty. Because if the earth is having an age then it is having a beginning and if it has a beginning then it has been created by a creator because it cannot begin itself by itself. Quran asked man to probe and know how the creation began it opines. ‘And say more on earth and see how the creation has began” This Quranic verse indicates many points. It tells us that probing the issues related to the beginning of earth would enable Man to know how the creation has began and that such a divine will enable man to realize the age of the existence of may creations on earth. The six days which has been mentioned in Quran was duration for the creation of cosmos is indicating various periods in which the cosmos has undergone the process of creation. It is not similar in its duration to the days which man knows today. This six days (six periods) have been divided into three periods: Firstly, two days (one period) for the creation of earth from the smoking sky. The skies and earth were one unit and they were separated by an explosion. Secondly, two days (one period) for the creation of seven skies. Thirdly, two days (one period) for managing the boons and maintenance for those who will need it. Dr. Mansoor assumed that there is a vast period which separates the creation of earth and the creation of Man. If the above three periods are manipulated for the purpose of calculating the age of earth, then the period between the creation of earth and the appearance of Man which has been estimated to be 4.5 billions can be multiplied in three and the age of cosmos can be estimated to be 13.5 billion years. Some other scientists estimate the age of cosmos in different ways depending on the cosmos extension, the red displacement, etc. Depending on these factors the estimate the age of cosmos to be 13 or 15 billions years.

Many poker beginners try to see as many flops as possible. This is hardly ever a winning strategy, as beginners don’t have the post flop tools to evaluate where they are in the hand respective to their opponents. The sole reason why the strategy of seeing a lot of cheap flops is effective for some players is because they are expert hand readers and have a good feel of where they are at in any hand. If this is not you, then consider the following cautions about limping preflop.
Limping is particularly troublesome in that it doesn’t allow you to establish the strength of your poker hand. By establishing your hand as a strong one, you instill fear in your opponents, and discourage them from calling you down if you miss the flop and need to continuation bet or bluff to win the pot. If you just limp in and miss the flop, you have not established that you have any kind of a strong holding, and your chance of taking down the pot uncontested decreases greatly. Raising preflop knocks out other potential limpers, and can also fold out the small and big blind, as they will be weary of getting in a confrontation out of position with a seemingly weaker holding than yours.
Another thing poker novices like to do is limp a monster hand like pocket kings or pocket aces in an attempt to trap someone. This is especially stupid, as slow playing one pair and overvaluing it on the river is a good way to lose your stack. The range of hands that pays you off when you slow play then make a huge raise on the river is very narrow compared to the range that folds or reraises you with a better holding. Limping a big pair from under the gun or from early position then reraising a raise from a late position bettor is a bad play as well, as it clearly defines the strength of your hand to an opponent in position, so he has the positional advantage to make a perfect play against you after the flop. By raising initially when the action is on you, you establish that you have a strong hand, but also leave the margin of doubt that you could be doing something crazy from early position. Only sprinkle in limps from time to time to throw off your opponents reads, but always be careful and recognize the problems associated with limping.

Thinking thoughts of peace toward every person will bring great peace to us.
Whether by the law of attraction or the law of sowing and reaping, it is impossible to give without getting in return. When you give out thoughts of anger, frustration or ill will, they are certain to be returned to you.
“The man who thinks hateful thoughts brings hatred upon himself. The man who thinks loving thoughts is loved.” ~ James Allen
“If I knew you and you knew me,
and each of us could clearly see,
the meaning of your heart and mine,
I’m sure that we would differ less,
we’d clasp our hands in friendliness,
if I knew you and you knew me.
~ John Kanary
We’re a whole lot more alike than we are different. The same wants, needs, loves and hurts. Knowing this will help us to think thoughts of peace towards others.
A person who sows wrong thoughts and deeds and prays that God will bless him, is like the farmer who, having sown weeds, asks God to bring forth for him a harvest of wheat.
If you want to be blessed, scatter blessings. If you want to be happy, consider the happiness of others.

In 1954, Sammy Davis Jr. converted to Judaism, which led to him being the subject of several anecdotes. One time he boarded a bus in the deep, segregated south. “Git to the back of the bus”, said the rude driver.”But I’m Jewish”, protested the entertainer. “Then get off.”
Another time Sammy was filming Porgy And Bess(1959) when he announced he would not work on Yom Kippur. Word got back from the set to Porgy’s frugal producer Sam Goldwyn, he immediately called his idle performer who was costing him $30,000. “Sammy, is it true? You refuse to work on the holiday? “Yes it’s true Sam.” There was a tense pause then Goldwyn said,” Bless You.”
Then there was the night of the 1971 Oscars when Sammy hosted the show and remarked,” Tonight, the academy honors both my peoples with Fiddler On The Roof and Shaft.”
But there was one occasion when Sammy came to doubt his conversion. He and Frank Sinatra were asked to perform at the MGM Grand hotel in Las Vegas with the MGM Lion in between them. They were assured it would be safe, the lion would be handled by a trainer with a choke chain. In the middle of the number the lion looked at Sammy and licked it’s lips. The lion hunched back like it was going to leap for Sammy, and Sammy scared to death made the Sign of the Cross. Luckily nothing happened. Later after the show they were having drinks in the lobby and Sinatra said nervously,” Boy Smokey, I thought that cat was going to come after you there– Hey Smokey didn’t you turn Jewish? Why did you make the Sign of the Cross when the cat came at ya?”
“Well babe, I didn’t think I’d have time to make the star of David!”

Revelations a Study. Section 1. Lets look at the sections before we get into great detail. Section 1 includes, Chapter 1:1 thru 1:18. These verses deal with the Author of Revelations Jesus The Christ. Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. As we are imformed in this verse, reading and hearing the Book of Revelations is blessed, the Key word we must look at is “KEEP.”[To hold; to restrain from departure or removal; not to let go of; to retain in one’s power or possession; not to lose; to retain; to detain.] Revelations has yet to be fulfilled as many would like for the world to believe. Here we see Jesus comanding us to Posses and retain the words of this book. Revelations was not written just for a few and neither were the Letters to the seven Churches of Asia. Seven in scripture signifies a perfice number.
The seven Spirits, Here are different intrepretations; Isaiah 11:2 The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord. A.1. The Spirit of the Lord
2. The Spirit of Wisdom.
3. The Spirit of Understanding.
4. The Spirit of Counsel.
5. The Spirit of Might.
6. The Spirit of Knowledge.
7. The Spirit of Fear of the Lord.
B.1. Spirit of Truth. John 15:26 2.Spirit of Power 2 Tim 1:7. 3. Spirit of Love. 2 Tim 1:7. 4. Spirit of Self-Discipline. 2 Tim 1:7. 5. Spirit of Wisdom. Deu 34:9. 6. Spirit of Judgment.Isa.4:4 7. Spirit of Life. Rev 11:11. Rev 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. This next set is the one I most addhere to. C. 1.Wisdon, 2.Knowledge, 3.Understanding, 4.Love, 5.Faith, 6.Hope & 7. Charity.
Dont let this be confuseing. The Seven Spirits of God are the seven attributes of The Holy Spirit, whom is God. If you knoticed in C. These are working operations of the Spirit unto us. The things God wishes us to be or have. For exampel without wisdon and Knowledge you cannot have understanding.
We will cover the seven churches later in this study. Patmos; One of the Sporades. A small rugged island of the Icarian Sea, part of the Aegean; 20 miles S. of Samos, 24 W. of Asia Minor, 25 in circumference. The scene of John’s banishment. The first section of Revelations deals with the divinity of ,”The Christ”. Rev. 1:13 thru 16, gives us the true representation of Jesus. Rev 1:13-15. And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.[Ref. Dan_8:18, Dan_10:6, Dan_10:10.] Verses 17 and 18, Jesus introduces Himself to John.

Post Traumatic Stress and Addiction
The consequences of Child Maltreatment: “early use of drugs/alcohol and substance abuse/dependences”*
Despite my parent’s attendance at church, my home environment was not godly. There was a war between Mom and Dad and I became a casualty. One morning when I was 5 years old, my younger brother and I were playing with wooden blocks in our bedroom. Mom and Dad had been fighting. Dad went to work and we continued playing. Mom came into the bedroom screaming, “I told you kids not to play with those blocks”. My brother said, “run” and we both ran into different parts of the house. Mom cornered him in the service porch and I heard the screams as she beat him. Then she came flying into the living room in a rage “Now, its your turn” she said.
She held me tight with one arm and hit me with full force as I looked into her face. And it was a look of hatred I saw there. The beating seemed like it lasted forever. Every time she hit me my hate started to grow .Her face was burned into my memory with hate. Finally, it was over and I crumpled to the ground.
That evening Dad came home. Mom met him at the door and said: “The children have been really bad today”. Dad pointed to my bedroom and shouted,” Go to your room”. In my room I thought of the injustice and I was filled with a consuming hatred toward my father. In one day Mom had introduced me to injustice, corrupted me with a spirit of hate, and turned me against my father.
These traumas change a persons life. This is not blame but an understanding of causes. The traumas were repressed out of my conscious mind in order to cope.In later years the drugs would obliterate all memory.
I was 15 when I first started using drugs. It was weekends first and got progressively worse. At age 18 one judge said to me,” I don’t know where you’re going but your getting there fast”
On reflection I think the traumatic incidents in my life, especially the root trauma with my mother, set me up for the addiction/acoholism.I explain it like this: If you have a burnt finger and place it in a cool glass of water it feels “good”. Similarly, my conscience had been burned by hate and felt “good” when immersed in the chemical high of drugs and alcohol.
My drug use eventually led to heroin.I was arrested and sentenced to a 7 year civil commitment to the California Rehabilitation Center in Norco, California.
While there I wrote an autobiography. I could only see that my desire for acceptance was the cause of my addiction. The early traumas were completely buried in my subconscious .Psychology calls this repression.I believe the incidents were so traumatic ,especially the root trauma, that I coped by blocking it out of my conscious mind.
After release I started using drugs again and was sent to another program: the Family Program at the Tarzana Psychiatric Hospital (Therapeutic Community).I was shocked when I arrived. My first view of the “Family” was in the cafeteria and it looked like a line of carnival sideshow freaks. The men had shaved heads and wore dresses. The women were wearing men’s clothes. Some were wearing paper bags over their heads. All were wearing cardboard sandwich signs with crayon marked messages on them.It was a weird menagerie of bizarre design.
It is amazing what can be done to human beings in the name of “Therapy” The first therapy was to stand on the wall. If you were ever punished with your face against the wall then you understand. Sometimes it was for 10 minutes, sometimes 20 hours. This is cruelty and not therapy.Honestly, I don’t know if this goes on at Tarzana now, but it certainly did then. Sleep deprivation, shaving heads, wearing dresses for men, standing in uncomfortable stress positions: all this was considered “therapy”.If you are wondering what all this had to do as “treatment” for drug Addiction, you are not alone. 30 years later I’m still wondering
I left Tarzana as soon as I could . I tried to stay clean but could not. Everyone believed I was hopeless. I returned to CRC for another year. During that time I attended both AA and NA.
For me resolving all this has taken a long time and a seemingly endless series of realizations, many painful. Even when I remembered the abuse I was not conscious of the feelings of hatred. On a conscious level I experienced an attraction to women like my mother. This “programming” caused me untold misery. This phenomenon of repression is not unknown to psychiatry.Although during my time in treatment programs I learned nothing of this.
Alcoholics Anonymous does make this statement:
There are those too with grave mental and emotional problems. Some of these do recover if they have the capacity to be honest.-Chapter 5,The Big Book.
This is as close as I can find in Recovery type literature referring to problems like mine.To this day it amazes me that I could walk around for 45 years with feelings of hatred and not be conscious of them. And it took over 20 years of being off drugs for the hatred to surface. A very good spiritual counselor advised me to confront my mother with what she had done. I did confront her with the abuse and when I did I was surprised to find feelings of resentment surfacing. Although I had not yet truly forgiven my mother, she broke down into tears when confronted.
” I hope this wasn’t the reason you were on drugs,” she told me.
And her cruelty was the reason. Now the reader may be thinking , “Maybe that’s true of you, but not everybody was abused by their mother”. But my experience in recovery (28 years) is that most alcoholics or drug addicts have been traumatized.I suggest that the thing that they all have in common is that they have been corrupted by their parents or parent substitutes to hate.
And perhaps all this suggests what the real cure for all this is. Is it not forgiveness for those who have harmed us, realizing that they too were once innocent children who were equally traumatized?
It is difficult for me to explain how the mystery of forgiveness happened to me. After the feelings of hatred surfaced in my life, I did not know how to deal with them. I remember driving around alone in my car cursing my mother out in the hopes that somehow that would eventually relieve me of the hate..
Another day I had a counseling session with a minister and confessed many of my sins including the hate. Afterwards, I felt clean. The traumas no longer seemed important..Now, is it any surprise to anyone that forgiveness is the means by which childhood post-traumatic stress is cured along with all the myriad of problems (including addiction and alcoholism) which grow out of it. After all, what could be more Christian or Spiritual than that?.

Liquid Love
——————————————————————————–
One dark night I received the gift of liquid love
It was sent straight from heaven above
My heart was filled with love overflowing
I was so joyful my face was glowing
I’ll tell you what happened that wonderful night
The scales from my eyes were lifted as I saw the light
Jesus came into my heart and saved my soul
Filled me with his liquid love and made me whole
Words cannot describe the love that I felt
When I surrendered all to him as I humbly knelt
To be loved by family and friends is a wonderful thing
But to be loved by Jesus made my heart sing
To know that Jesus loved me made me happy and free
That he could love me so much was a miracle to me
His liquid love that came and filled my heart
Washed away my past and gave me a new start

By whirlwinds I don’t mean that in a negative way, I mean that in such a way as to describe the feeling one gets when they first start out in the world of seo or search engine optimization technologies.
At first he can become overwhelming mainly because everybody’s trying to teach you the same thing in 100 different ways however you’ll start to notice after while but these are just different angles of the same thing.
The wisdom comes to you and you realize this and you will dynamically be held to apply these technologies to other things you can find out there that help you to apply them more lucidly.
If you find yourself interested in making money on the Internet is just a matter of time before the term search engine optimization technology comes across your lips.
The term seo is an acronym for search engine optimization but the acronym in itself explains exactly what it is.
Search engines are looking for quality websites to serve to their search engine info seekers, and as badly as the people want to find information there are others who would like to give that information to them.
Somewhere in the middle some marketing happens and this is the engine that drives both sides. Learning search engine optimization can give you the big picture on both sides in the middle.

God Owes No One
Someone once said that there are no atheists in fox holes. Good point. Many people when in danger have tried to bargain with God. What about you? Have you ever said this? “Lord if you’ll just get me through this mess, I’ll serve you for the rest of my life.” And are you?
Why can’t we bargain with God? After all doesn’t the Bible say that God enters into contracts with His people? Well let’s look at this closely. God does contract or covenant with His people, but we can not initiate the covenant on our own merit because we can’t guarantee the covenant, nor its outcome. Only God can because He alone is Sovereign.
If this is true, and it is, why do we try to bargain with God? Actually, what we are doing by bargaining with Him is trying to place Him in our debt. “God you do something for me, then I will do something for you. Okay?” We argue. But He answers, “No, it’s not okay.” Why? Because God owes us nothing. God is self-contained. God is self-existing. He lacks nothing. He needs nothing. He’s perfectly contented with and in Himself.
The primary reason you and I are in the picture is because God expends Himself throughout the universe. He wants to expend Himself through us, transforming us into His Son’s image so that we reflect God’s Glory and walk in His abounding joy. Isaiah 43:7 says that God created us for His Glory.
Now if we think we can help God do this, we are mistaken. All we can do is submit to Him passively, and receive His grace by faith. Oh! By the waywhile He’s giving us grace, He’s also giving us faith to trust Him (Ephesians 2:8-10). Look again at Job 41:11 when you get time. God owes nobody! And nobody may borrow anything from Him. So stop trying to place God in your debt. God doesn’t owe you anything. He will never place Himself in debt to you. I hope the point is made because I’m resting my case.
Nevertheless, remember this important theological point. God gives us everything. He gives us a body, soul, and spirit. He gives us a relationship with Him through faith (that He gives us) in Jesus Christ His only begotten Son. He abides with us by His Holy Spirit. He gives us loveperfect love in the sense that we freely choose Him or reject Him. He doesn’t want puppets on strings. He created us in His image and likenessfree moral agents, just like Him. He gives us enabling grace to live daily in victory over the kingdom of darkness. He gives us joy. He gives us eternal life. He gives. He gives. He gives. All we can do is receive by faith and thank Him. This keeps us in awe as to His Glory.
Let me wrap up this point. God gives us everything that pertains to life and godliness. We can not work for it. We can not work for more of it. We can only rest in His finished and completed work of redemption. Glory to God for His awesome Glory to behold! Go ahead and just thank Him. I am not worthy of His grace. He knows that. He still wants me to have itwithout any debt or strings attached. Now that’s grace. Freely given, freely received.
Keep the faith. Stay the course. Jesus is coming soon. While we wait, enjoy His goodness.
It’s free for the asking.
