Christmas Party Ideas and Games
Throwing a Christmas party this year? You can be creative with a themes like Charlie Brown Christmas or make your party a real bash with fun Christmas party games. Party games will break the ice and get your guests talking. And you don’t need much for this idea. All that’s required is a few Christmas music songs.
Divide your guests into two teams. Pick out Christmas songs and play them until one or two lines of lyrics are sung. Pause the song and ask your guests to say the next line of lyrics, just like on the popular shows like “Singing Bee.” Any correct guess wins one point for the team. Go back and forth between the two teams so that everyone on each team gets a turn, with the host acting like the scorekeeper. You might have to do some preparation ahead of time and print out the lyrics to the songs you’re using so as to avoid any controversy over what the songs lyrics are.
For added suspense and fun, offer a prize or party favor to the winning team.
Mix the song list with popular Christmas songs that every knows, like Jingle Bells and new Christmas hits like “Grownup Christmas Wish,” which might be a bit more challenging and fun too.
